A little ramble about Hypnosis

Hypnosis is a trance state and has been used since ancient times as a means of attaining wisdom via intuition as well as receiving cosmic information, channelling and divination.

The origin of the word is derived from Hypnos, the Greek God of sleep, dreams being our best free psychologist there could ever be, if only we would pay heed to them.

Everyone dreams...and there is such a thing as a non-narrative, seemingly dreamless sleep. It is simply another variety and frequency of consciousness. There are different dream dimensions, as the indiginous peoples recognise. The aborigines accept the dream state as a dimension of time in itself, and a reality of its own. In quantum physics there is the concept of "parrallell reality". Indeed, other dimensions are frequently accessed via trance. The kind of trance...the level and route of travel and vibration...determines the dimensional destination. Cognitive consciousness is helped to be more focused and clear when the subconscious levels are expertly adressed. Congruency between conscious and subconscious allows for more awareness and directed intelligence of purpose, energy and behavior.

There are many kinds of trance...more than we have even investigated formally. Trance here is being defined as a suggestable state, the cause can be positive or negative.

Of those known and acknowledged, there are: ecstatic spiritual trance, love trance, romantic trance, sexual trance, creative trance (artists of all kinds often experience this when fully immersed in their craft), musical trance, indoctrination trance, environmental trance (also called environmental hypnosis), media trance, trauma trance, shock trance, memory trance...

There are others too...subjects for further discussion.

Trance induced through therapeutic means serves to protect and empower the mind.

Affirmation for the week

I open myself to allowing understanding and wisdom for the reason for my life experiences up until now. I integrate this willingness into my being for the highest good and open my mind to be alert to noticing ways in which I can use and share this awareness with others as it manifests.
